Katsina – The Katsina State Hisbah Board has banned all nightclub activities across the state, citing Islamic principles and the need to preserve societal values, Commander-General Dr. Aminu Usman announced Wednesday.

The order aims to curb immoral practices, address security concerns, and promote a morally upright society, according to Usman. Security agencies have been instructed to enforce compliance, with violators facing strict penalties.

“This move aligns with Hisbah’s broader efforts to ensure residents live in line with religious and moral standards,” Usman said.
