North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un has reportedly banned the broadcast of Tottenham Hotspur matches in the country due to the presence of South Korean captain Son Heung-min. The UK Sun reports that the decision aligns with Kim’s policy of excluding games featuring South Korean players from North Korean television.

The move means Kim Jong-Un, a known Manchester United fan, will miss his favorite club’s upcoming Premier League clash against Tottenham on Saturday evening.

This is not the first time North Korean broadcasts have been affected by the nationality of players. Last season, matches involving Wolverhampton Wanderers were barred due to their South Korean forward, Hwang Hee-chan. Similarly, Brentford games were blacked out because of defender Kim Ji-soo.

Premier League coverage in North Korea is already tightly controlled. Matches are shortened from 90 minutes to 60 and are only aired after official news bulletins—often months after the games have taken place.
