In a move signaling a fresh start, Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State has dissolved the state executive council ahead of his second inauguration on May 29th.

The decision was announced during an expanded executive council meeting held at the Government House.

Governor Sule expressed his gratitude to the appointees for their service and their contributions to the achievements of the government thus far.

During his address, Governor Sule acknowledged the attendance of council members despite the short notice and inconvenience caused by the meeting’s rescheduling.

He extended his appreciation to those who had tirelessly worked towards the success of the previous elections, emphasizing that their dedication had played a pivotal role.

He also acknowledged the existence of dissenting voices, but stressed the importance of unity and progress in moving forward.

Highlighting the accomplishments of the Nasarawa Economic Advisory Council, chaired by Professor Konyisola Ajayi, Governor Sule commended their efforts.

The council’s tenure has come to an end, but their contributions have been instrumental in the establishment of the Nasarawa State Investment Development Agency (NASIDA) and the successful implementation of various initiatives.

As Governor Sule prepares for his second term in office, the dissolution of the executive council marks a significant step towards reshaping the government’s agenda and building upon the achievements of the previous term.
