The National Coalition against Terrorism has criticized the Kwankwasiyya political movement in Kano State, branding their protests against the Appeal Court’s judgment on Abba Kabir Yusuf’s sack as acts of terror.

The coalition has called on the State Security Services (SSS) to promptly summon movement leaders for interrogation.

The Kwankwasiyya movement has staged multiple protests since the court ruling, with the coalition alleging that these demonstrations targeted non-indigenous Nigerians and aimed to discredit President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration.

The coalition warns of potential violence orchestrated by Kwankwasiyya in various locations, urging the SSS to investigate and prevent any acts of terrorism.
