The Nigeria Revenue Service (NRS) has launched Rev360, a new digital tax administration platform aimed at simplifying tax processes, improving compliance and strengthening efforts to detect tax evasion.
The platform was unveiled in Abuja by the Executive Chairman of the NRS, Zacch Adedeji, who described it as a key milestone in the agency’s shift toward a more integrated and data-driven tax system under its Tax Administration 3.0 reform agenda.
Adedeji said the platform would improve service delivery, enhance transparency and streamline interactions between taxpayers and tax authorities.
“Rev360 represents a significant step towards building a more modern, efficient, and responsive tax administration system that aligns with global best practices,” he said.
He added that the initiative reflects the agency’s broader push for digital transformation and innovation in revenue administration.
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, commended the initiative, describing technology-driven tax systems as essential for improving economic management and ease of doing business.
Represented by Permanent Secretary (Special Duties), Mohammed Sanusi, he pledged the ministry’s support for the rollout of the platform.
Officials said Rev360 would simplify tax registration, filing and payment processes while improving user experience for individuals and businesses.
Executive Director of the Medium and Emerging Taxpayers Group, Bolaji Akintola, said the system would enhance accessibility and compliance.
Technology Executive Director, Iniabasi Akpkan, said the platform would enable faster payments and better data integration, helping authorities identify patterns of tax evasion.
The NRS said the system can leverage financial and transactional data to improve compliance monitoring and enforcement.
Chief of Staff to the NRS Chairman, Tayo Koleosho, said Rev360 was designed to improve efficiency, strengthen taxpayer engagement and enhance data protection.
The launch event featured demonstrations of key taxpayer processes and a panel session focused on implementation and user experience.
