Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), expresses openness to genuine restructuring of Nigeria, emphasizing alignment with the 1963 Constitution.

Kanu, currently in solitary confinement at the DSS headquarters, asserts that unless opponents of comprehensive restructuring repent, his demand for a Biafra referendum remains unchanged.

In a meeting with his younger brother, Prince Emmanuel, Kanu highlights conditions for reconciliation, including the equitable rebuilding of the South East and Biafra land.

He calls for critical infrastructure development, such as a commercial seaport and international airport, to address longstanding marginalization. Kanu blames those disrupting peace efforts for the current insecurity in the region. Despite his incarceration, he stands firm on advocating for justice, equity, and fairness.
