The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the schedule for the 2024 Batch ‘B’ Stream II Orientation Course. According to a circular dated August 7, 2023, and signed by Ahmed Ikaka, Director of PRS on behalf of the Director General of the NYSC, the orientation exercise will be held across all 36 states of Nigeria, including the Federal Capital Territory.
The orientation course is set to begin on Wednesday, August 28, 2024. Registration for the new corps members will run from August 28 to August 30, with the registration deadline set for midnight on Friday, August 30, 2024.
The swearing-in ceremony, which marks the official commencement of the service year for the corps members, will take place on Friday, August 30, 2024. The orientation course will feature various activities designed to prepare corps members for their year of national service, and will conclude with a closing ceremony on Tuesday, September 17, 2024.
