In his inaugural speech at the Eagles Square in Abuja on Monday, President Bola Tinubu addressed the ongoing agitation for Nigeria’s break up and assured the nation that it will remain united.
Amidst groups like the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and the Yoruba Nation movement pushing for secession, President Tinubu emphasized Nigeria’s resilience and diversity, stating that the country will continue to exist just like the rest of the world.
Notably, the detention of IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu by the Department of State Services (DSS) and Sunday Igboho in Benin Republic has intensified the separatist movements.
