In a closely-watched primary election, Senator Dino Melaye has emerged as the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the upcoming governorship election in Kogi State.
Melaye, a former lawmaker, prevailed over other aspirants to secure the nomination.
He will now face off against Usman Ododo, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the November 11th election.
