Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, has expressed optimism that the new year will bring fresh opportunities to consolidate the gains of his administration.
In his New Year message, Soludo said his government would draw lessons from existing challenges while working collectively to achieve Anambra’s vision of prosperity, security and sustainable development.
Extending goodwill to citizens and residents of the state, the governor urged them to embrace the new year with gratitude and reflection.
“I urge everyone to celebrate this new beginning by reflecting with gratitude on the resilience, industry and patriotic spirit of Ndị Anambra, which continue to distinguish our people across Nigeria and the global community,” he said.
Soludo reassured residents of his administration’s commitment to improving lives and accelerating the transformation of the state in the year ahead.
He said the government remains focused on its core “Solution” pillars, including infrastructure development, quality education, accessible healthcare, economic empowerment, environmental sustainability, and the protection of lives and property.
According to the governor, efforts will be intensified to deliver projects and programmes that improve living standards, create opportunities for young people, and position Anambra as a leading hub for investment and innovation in Nigeria.
“As we embark on this new journey, sustainable development requires partnership between the government and the governed,” Soludo said, calling on Ndị Anambra and Nigerians to continue supporting governments at both state and federal levels.
