The Super Eagles have kicked off their training camp in England ahead of the eagerly awaited 2025 Unity Cup, with 20 players already in camp as preparations intensify for the marquee clash against Ghana.

The tournament, designed to promote national cohesion through football, will see Nigeria face off against their perennial West African rivals at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium.

The camp features a mix of established veterans and fresh faces, heightening competition for starting spots. Among the early arrivals are captain Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Kelechi Iheanacho, Semi Ajayi, Frank Onyeka, and Wilfred Ndidi.

Other players already in camp include Nathan Tella, Cyriel Dessers, Felix Agu, Igho Ogbu, Bruno Onyemaechi, Junior Nduka, Sadiq Ismaila, Waliu Ojetoye, Ifeanyi Onyebuchi, Papa Mustapha, Saviour Isaac, Collins Ogwueze, Sikiru Alimi, and Abubakar Adamu.

Still expected to join are goalkeepers Stanley Nwabali, Maduka Okoye, and Amas Obasogie, along with attackers Chrisantus Uche, Samuel Chukwueze, and Tolu Arokodare.

The Unity Cup encounter, beyond its sporting significance, is also seen as a symbolic effort to reinforce continental camaraderie and fan unity through football.
