The meeting, held under the auspices of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), is taking place at the Council Chamber of the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

This gathering marks President Tinubu’s inaugural meeting with the governors since assuming office on May 29.

Among those in attendance are the governors of Zamfara, Kano, Taraba, Kogi, Ogun, Nasarawa, Bayelsa, Adamawa, Ebonyi, Lagos, Rivers, Osun, Jigawa, Benue, Delta, Enugu, Oyo, Plateau, Kebbi, Abia, and Imo. Notably, the deputy governors of Edo and Niger are representing their respective states in the absence of their governors.

However, the governors of Katsina, Kaduna, Gombe, Borno, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Ekiti, and Sokoto were not sighted prior to the commencement of the meeting.
