Leandro Trossard will be available for Arsenal’s Premier League fixture against Leicester City, despite being sent off during their recent match against Manchester City.

The Belgian forward received a second yellow card just before half-time for delaying play after a foul on Bernardo Silva, which was confirmed by VAR. Trossard reportedly told teammates he hadn’t heard the referee’s whistle and was attempting to pass the ball to a teammate.

Due to the nature of his dismissal—two yellow cards—Trossard is only suspended for one match, which applies across all English competitions. With Arsenal facing Bolton in the EFL Cup before their league match, Trossard will serve his suspension during the cup game, making him eligible to return for the Leicester clash at the Emirates.

This situation mirrors an earlier incident where Declan Rice was sent off for a similar offence against Brighton earlier this season.
