Volkanovski and Adesanya retain titles
The future looks promising.
The UFC plans to return to Australia in the first third of next year with an event that could break the promotion’s attendance record.
So the question is, who will be the show’s main attraction?

After dominating Max Holloway to retain his featherweight title, Alex Volkanovski is an early favorite. Consider the scenes if the Australian competed for the lightweight title on home soil.
Then there’s Israel Adesanya, who can already lay claim to having headlined the biggest UFC event in history, which took place in Melbourne in 2019.
How about Tai Tuivasa, who is climbing the heavyweight rankings and could soon be in line for a title shot if his incredible knockout streak continues?
Regardless, we have enough cattle to fill a stadium across the Tasman.
“We know who is next.”
Israel Adesanya is aware of the next person.
Despite being unranked when he arrived in Las Vegas, Alex Pereira is set to compete for Adesanya’s title after twice defeating him in kickboxing.
We know who will come after. Regarding the night Pereira defeated him in kickboxing, Adesanya says, “Trust me, the first time I told you, it was an error on my part [by] spamming the right hand.
That, however, was kickboxing. Because he was parrying the jabs, the hillbilly in question [Sean Strickland] was simple to knock out.
You’re going to become frozen like Elsa the next time I put you on skates, just like I said at the press conference. That’s all I’ll say.
The middleweight championship remains to be won.
New Zealand remains on the middleweight championship route.

And Israel Adesanya continues to rule the middleweight division of the UFC.
Although it was hardly a classic, the New Zealander did what had to be done. In the main event of UFC 276 he defeated Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 50-45) and successfully defended his title.
According to the results, Cannonier had to pick up the pace in an effort to oust Adesanya from the middleweight title. He had to act rashly at that point if he wanted to win or lose by decision and leave as the new champion.
Adesanya assured us that he would make it appear simple, and he was content to complete the last round knowing that he had accomplished enough to gain the upper hand on the scorecards. Adesanya picks up the tempo late and ought to keep the title.
