In a recent incident in Eti Osa local government, a woman has been detained in Kirikiri correctional facilities for reportedly assaulting a police officer.
The accused was presented before the court on charges of assault and has been ordered to remain in custody until June 6, when her case will be heard.
The information was shared by the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, through his official Twitter account on Tuesday.
According to his tweet, the incident occurred in Ogombo, where the woman allegedly assaulted the police officer. The accused was swiftly arraigned today and subsequently remanded in the Kirikiri correctional facility until the court reconvenes on June 6.
