Governor Fubara of Rivers State, during the maiden state banquet at Government House Port Harcourt, urged residents to embrace the ongoing peace process initiated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Expressing wishes for a prosperous 2024, the governor emphasized the administration’s commitment to development, urging citizens to avoid political turmoil that hinders progress. Fubara asserted that decisions made are driven by the people’s interests and respect for elders, appealing for a collective embrace of peace for the state’s advancement.

The governor emphasized the determination to leave a legacy of unity and development, steering clear of political apprehension. The Secretary to the State Government, Dr Tammy Danagogo, commended Governor Fubara’s focus on delivering democracy’s dividends despite political challenges, urging citizens to champion peace, truth, and justice for the state’s continued greatness.
