Facing mounting pressure, Barcelona coach Xavi Hernandez expressed willingness to resign if his squad no longer believed in him, particularly after the team’s recent 4-1 loss to Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Cup final.

Barcelona currently sits eight points behind La Liga leaders Girona, with defensive struggles evident compared to the previous season’s success. Xavi emphasized his commitment to the club, stating, “The day my players no longer follow me, I’ll pack my bags and leave.”

The former Barca captain, who returned in 2021, acknowledged the challenges but remains focused on bringing success to the club.
