In Anambra, arsonists set fire to the LG secretariat and the Magistrate Court. Suspected arsonists set fire to the secretariat of the Idemili North Local Government and a Magistrate Court in Ogidi. According to sources, the arsonists continued their act on Sunday night, destroying all files and property in the secretariat, including the building. According to videos and photos circulating online, the entire buildings were reduced to rubbles, and vehicles parked inside the Local Government secretariat were also burned to ashes. The incident was also confirmed by the State Police Command, which blamed it on unknown arsonists. "Yes, the incident was confirmed, and our men were on the scene to restore normalcy," said State Police Command spokesperson DSP Toochukwu Ikenga. "The fire has been put out, and the area is calm right now," Ikenga told Newsmen.
