According to this report, her close friend Jenifer was behind her gruesome murder in order to take her husband away from her.
According to the most recent statement from the FCT Police Command, one of the arrested suspects (a lady) has confessed to being the murderer.
She planned the murder in order to keep Stephanie’s husband to herself.
Stephanie was stunning, and at the age of 26, her life was just getting started. She was stationed in Abuja, where she lived with her life partner, Edward Achadu, and their one-year-five-month-old son.
On April 14th, 2022, she left with her son to take her CDS. She intended to stop by Jennifer’s house on her way to her CDS. Jennifer had called her earlier to come get a phone. Jennifer was a friend of her husband Edward’s. Edward had introduced her as a friend of his. Stephanie, on the other hand, was unaware that Edward and Jennifer had previously dated. Edward had moved on to Stephanie, and Jennifer was not having it.
Jennifer, unbeknownst to Stephanie, had devised a plan with her accomplices to kidnap and murder her in order to have Edward all to herself.
So, when Stephanie came by that day in April, she was grabbed and tied. Jennifer then bathed her in acid, causing her death. They dumped her body on a deserted road around 3 a.m. after completing their heinous task. Her son, on the other hand, was abandoned at a Catholic Church.
When Stephanie failed to appear for her CDS, her colleagues filed a missing persons report. They also launched a social media campaign. Her decrepit body was discovered by the police a few weeks later. Because her body was discovered wearing her NYSC khaki uniform, they assumed she was the missing Corper. Her husband was called in to help identify the body. Which he positively did.
Jennifer and her associates are now being pursued by the police. It is unknown whether Stephanie’s husband was aware of the plan to murder his wife.
However, one question remains: “Was Edward still in a romantic relationship with Jennifer after moving on with Stephanie?”
….because if they weren’t still seeing each other, what would make Jennifer think that by killing Stephanie, she could have Edward all to herself? Another question to consider is why Edward left Jennifer in the first place. Was it because Stephanie became pregnant for him during an away match gone wrong? Questions, questions, questions….
