The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) has expressed deep sadness and shock over the abduction of more than 200 students from a primary and secondary school in Kuriga village, Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State. NANS called for immediate action by security agencies to rescue the abducted students and urged the government to review and bolster security measures in schools nationwide. The association extended sympathies to the Kaduna State government, affected families, and guardians, emphasizing the need for a united effort to secure Nigeria’s educational institutions and ensure the safety of students.
