Nine people died and three were injured early Monday in a crash near Ayetoro on the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.
A Toyota bus, reportedly speeding and with a fatigued driver, lost control and rammed into a stationary truck around 5:30 a.m., according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
The injured were taken to Famobis Hospital, Mowe, while the deceased were moved to Idera morgue, Sagamu. FRSC urged drivers to observe rest breaks and adhere to speed limits.
