The Kano State Command of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has mobilized 3,400 personnel to secure the planned protests in the state. State Commandant Mohammad Falala confirmed this in a Saturday interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), detailing measures to ensure peaceful demonstrations.
Falala stated that the NSCDC is collaborating with other security agencies to maintain order and protect lives and property throughout the protests. He emphasized that security will be tight at public buildings, markets, banks, places of worship, recreation centers, and motor parks across all 44 LGAs.
Law-abiding residents are assured of full protection, while any disruptive behavior will be met with arrests and prosecution.
