The Ogun State Police Command initiates an investigation into the lynching of two individuals over allegations of the ritual murder of 12-year-old Ayomide Agunbiade in Odo Alaro, Odogbolu Local Government Area.
The victims were accused of killing the missing boy for ritual purposes, prompting a mob to take justice into their own hands.
Police spokesperson Omolola Odutola confirms the incident, highlighting that mob action is a punishable offense. The command, led by Commissioner of Police Abiodun Alamutu, is committed to addressing criminal elements and ensuring justice in the case.
The bodies of the suspects and the deceased boy have been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
