A former Governor of Bayelsa State and serving senator representing Bayelsa West at the National Assembly, Seriake Dickson, has called on the Rivers State Governor, Sim Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, to exercise restraint as efforts are to restore peace to the state.

Senator Dickson gave the advice when he led a Bayelsa State delegation of political and traditional leaders to Port Harcourt, to visit Governor Fubara and urged him to continue showing restraint because power without restraint was dangerous.

He also commended President Bola Tinubu for his interventions and efforts in bringing stability to Rivers State, as well as the efforts of other leaders who have tried to resolve the political issues privately and publicly.
