Less than a day after his inauguration, President Bola Tinubu arrived at his office in the Aso Rock Villa, Abuja on Tuesday afternoon.
Following Monday’s grand Banquet Hall event, where President Tinubu hosted over 40 Heads of State, he officially resumed work at his office today, Tuesday.
At precisely 2:38 pm, Tinubu’s motorcade rolled into the forecourt of the Villa, where he received a warm welcome from Vice President Kashim Shettima, Speaker of the House of Representatives Femi Gbajabiamila, Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria Godwin Emefiele, Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited Mele Kyari, and the Permanent Secretary of the State House Tijjani Umar.
Also present were former Lagos State Commissioner for Finance Mr. Wale Edun, Mr. Dele Alake, and Hon. James Faleke.
Shortly before his arrival, the new Commander-in-Chief conducted an inspection of the Quarter Guard stationed at the presidential gate.
Following President Tinubu’s initial meeting today, the presidency is expected to make an announcement regarding the appointment of key officials in the new administration, including the Chief of Staff, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, National Security Adviser, and Spokesperson.
