In a significant development, President Bola Tinubu has taken the decision to suspend AbdulRasheed Bawa, the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The move, as conveyed by Willie Basse, the Director of Information at the SGF Office, is aimed at facilitating a thorough investigation into Bawa’s conduct during his tenure.
