The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has appointed Mrs. Nancy Nathan as Acting Head of the Federal Capital Territory Service Administration (FCTA).
The appointment, announced on Tuesday by the minister’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, follows the death of the former Head of Service, Grace Adayilo, on September 1.
Nathan, who will serve in an acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service, was until now the Permanent Secretary of the FCTA’s Youth Development Secretariat.
She has also served as Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the FCT Minister before her elevation to permanent secretary.
According to the statement, her appointment takes immediate effect.
