Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has put his campaign on hold to attend court proceedings with his legal team.

In a tweet on Wednesday, Obi revealed that he had planned to embark on a whistle-stop campaign tour to various states including Nasarawa, Lagos, Enugu, Abia, Delta, Edo, Rivers, Plateau, and Borno.

However, due to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s refusal to allow his party to inspect materials from the February 25th presidential elections, he had to redirect his attention to pursuing due process and respecting the rule of law.

Obi has urged his supporters to continue campaigning for the Labour Party Governorship and State Assembly Candidates in the various states.
