President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, hails Governor Nyesom Wike for his contribution to victory in presidential poll.
At the commissioning of the Rumuokwuta/Rumuola flyover in Port Harcourt on Wednesday, Tinubu acknowledged Wike’s role in ensuring that the presidency returned to the southern part of the country.
The President-elect expressed gratitude for the governor’s support and praised him as a man of integrity who stood by his convictions.
Tinubu also noted the challenges faced during the electioneering season, including rumours and speculation.
However, Wike’s steadfastness and commitment to unity and fairness were instrumental in securing victory, according to the former Lagos governor.
